Mechanical positioning and fixing, cable and busbar connections to the specified sizes, protection and control wiring, and the earthing and bonding connections. Work is carried out to the project drawings and to the standards applying to the installation.

Commissioning

Verification of connections and torque

Insulation and continuity testing

Functional testing of protection, control and interlocks

Load testing at the actual load, not at no load

Verification of alarm, monitoring and shutdown signalling

For fire systems, detector and interface testing with recorded results

Handover

We provide the as-installed information, test records and operating instructions the client needs. A system handed over without test records is a system whose condition is unknown.

Training

Where the client’s staff will operate or maintain the equipment, we brief them on routine checks and on what to do when the equipment indicates a fault.
