Scope
Supply of a 250 kVA automatic voltage regulator to correct the incoming supply for the project’s load, installed and commissioned on site.
Why the regulation was required
The installation needed a stable supply within the tolerance of its equipment, and the site supply deviated beyond it. Regulation at this rating corrects the incoming supply for a substantial group of loads rather than for a single machine.
Commissioning
The regulator was commissioned with the real load connected, verifying the output across the actual input voltage range at the site rather than at no load.
